Performance Opportunities

We are just starting our planning for our 30th Anniversary Show in 2020. We expect that there will be two opportunities to perform in the show, a musical theatre number performed with our adult jazz class and a jazz or contemporary style dance for alumni and teachers. Alumni dancers are also welcome to join in for the recital finale.

When are Rehearsals?

Jazz or Contemporary

The choreography will be taught in the summer of 2019 with rehearsal times set up for the Christmas Break and the Easter Weekend.

Adult Musical Theatre

Choreography will be taught over the Christmas Break with rehearsal opportunities available on Thursday evenings in the winter of 2020.

What if I am unable to attend Rehearsals?

Videos will be made available through our website for all dancers to be able to learn the choreography remotely. The most important rehearsals where we will do final blocking to learn spaces will be Good Friday and the Wednesday of recital week, ideally all dancers will be able to attend at minimum the Wednesday prior to recital.

When is the Show?

Our year end recital is Friday April 24th and Saturday April 25th, 2020. One evening show on Friday and an afternoon and evening show on Saturday.

Do I Need to Buy a Costume?

No. Everyone will be responsible for their own costumes... we will confirm costumes by December 2019.
